Elegant Party Wedding at The Hall on Dragon

Shelley and Daniel first met on a dating app and were engaged 2.5 years later in the Bahamas. Daniel surprised Shelley on a walk on the beach, and little did she know their families were hiding in the bushes watching it happen! According to Shelley, “It was perfect!”

Shelley and her bridesmaids got the full glam treatment from Daniela Bell Makeup and Tara Hlavac doing hair. All the girls wore their own black dress, and Shelley wore a stunning gown from Eddy K at Lulu’s Bridal. The couple’s invitation suite was created by Carlson Craft
“I knew that I wanted my wedding to be the best party that anyone had ever been to.” Shelley says. And it was! The Hall on Dragon was the perfect setting for their modern and elegant soiree. The chuppah for Shelley and Daniel’s ceremony was from Father of the Bride Rentals, and was adorned with florals from Fleurs de France. Glamorous florals in white throughout the venue, with touches of gold, accented decor in Shelley’s favorite color: black.

CN Catering provided the great service to go along with Simcha Kosher Catering’s delicious dinner. Shelley and Daniel’s gorgeous custom cakes came from Frosted Art Bakery.

In10City Band kept the music going all night! Every moment was captured by Cristina Wisner Photography, and HMH Productions.

Shelley’s very favorite moment from the wedding came after her father’s speech. He started a tradition at her sister’s wedding of surprising the happy couple with a song, so Shelley knew he had something up his sleeve. “Only this time, he wrote the song. The lyrics, the music, everything. He searched and searched for the words to say to me and couldn’t find them, so he wrote them himself. My dad has played the guitar my entire life and has never written a song before. It was a labor of love, it was beautiful, and it was the most meaningful gift I will every receive in my entire life! Truly magical.”

The best part of being married, Shelley says, comes from her Jewish faith. “In Judaism, when you get married your souls actually become one, and I truly feel the difference. Our souls are forever intertwined as one, and my favorite thing about being married is waking up in the morning and feeling our soul start the day!”

Shelley and Daniel share a beautiful soul, and we wish them the best in their future together! Mazel tov!
